PMA update to workshop proposal form

Description

We would like to allow organizations (with at least 3 collaborating organizations) to submit their proposals for a 4-hour bloc through the workshop process.

They need to be able to identify it as a "Peoples Movement Assembly"

The form can go to Program like the other 4-hour blocs for scheduling and to stephanie@… so we can coordinate directly and ensure that there is not overlap that could be combined.

2 possible ways to do this (as we see it, but we're open to what is possible & smooth):
1) a PMA box or button that can be checked on the 4-hour submission form
2) a different form for PMA that is pretty identical to 4-hour bloc

what do y'all think?

Probably a button on the form would be best. I think at this point we should do as much multi-use form stuff as possible. What do the rest of you think?

  • keywords PMA updates removed
  • project changed from PMA updates to ABCs

What happens when workshop submissions close at the end of March. Are PMAs going to be closed then, too?

I think we can follow the principles of multi-usage by also using the ABC site, too. We've got a submission form already. Perhaps we can add to this submission form a separate section if it's going to be happening in Detroit. An alternative idea.

  • status changed from new to closed

This was implemented exactly as Steph and Program/Culture WG decided at the OC meeting in March.
