Description

A number of people have written to me saying it's really hard to find the PO box anywhere on the website. This is mostly in reference to wanting to send their check for registration or donations.

I tried to update the green footer so it includes the PO Box address, but couldn't quite figure out how to do it.

Could someone please add this to the green footer on the website?

Make checks out to "US Social Forum 2010" and send to:
USSF/Detroit
PO Box 3551
Highland Park, MI 48203

Thanks ~ Sha

Sounds like a good idea. I just added it to the footer of the www.ussf2010.org site.

It seems kinda funny to add a line about who to make checks out to on every page of the site, so I left that part out - what do you think?

Also - this should probably be added to community.ussf2010.org and organize.ussf2010.org as well.

Thanks for adding the address to the www.ussf2010.org footer -- I guess it does make sense to leave the check part out of the footer. I added the "make checks out to" part on the donate page, and am still trying to figure out how to update the info in the events module for registration.

I don't see it on the Registration FAQ page either, so I was trying to log in there but it looks like my editor login isn't work anymore... any idea why?

I'm not sure why your login no longer works. Can you try going to:  http://www.ussf2010.org/user and then clicking on the reset password link? You should be able to enter your email address to get a password reset link sent.

As for the events module - which page is the wrong info showing up?

weird, my login worked today but not yesterday.

Sorry for the lack of clarity about where in the events module -- it was the confirmation email that needed to be updated, which we resolved in ticket #421.

I agree, the PO box should be added to the community and organize sites, and I would also add it to the footer on abc.ussf2010.org -- can you do that too jamie?

  • status changed from new to closed

Put it on the community, organize and the abc site, too.
