notes.ussf2010.org is not working

unfortunately, notes.ussf2010.org is not fully functional anymore. symptoms include multiple users not being able to see the same content. the notes pages appear to individual users, but their input is not displayed to others on the same page.

Thanks for posting this Mallory. The program needs to be restarted on every reboot of the server (until we can get a proper runit style system setup).

Furthermore, I see that it needs to be run from a screen session (I thought I had started it properly).

So - it is now running properly.

And, I've created a file called startme in the notes user's home directory.

So, if it's every not running properly, these are the steps to rectify that situation:

• Login as notes@… (or if you don't have access to notes, login as root@… and su to notes).
• Type:

  ./startme
