Take as little info from the registration site. Create user account automatically Create open ID Sign them into the organize.ussf.org Encouraged from there to make a group, join a group, etc. Then the question is about housing, transport, visa request form etc. Also need to examine the session proposals.

Thinking about a roll out approach for the volunteer process. Where the initial registration has a checkbox then they can later be given instruction for signing up to organic groups.
List of Use Cases
- A user browses groups and decides to register at organize.ussf2010.org and create a group for her/his region and be an organizer.
- From www.ussf2010.org or community.ussf2010.org, user clicks the "Organize" link, one of the common links appearing on every page, to organize.ussf2010.org
- User follows main navigation link to "Create an Account" or "Start Organizing"
- User is directed to Non-attendee Individual registration profile on community.ussf2010.org, reminded that this does not register them for the social forum. Link to registration page is provided.
- User creates an account, confirmation email is sent, user follows link to confirm.
- User follows groups.ussf2010.org landing page main navigation link to "Start a Group" and becomes the author, admin, and manager of new group
- User can now invite other email addresses or users to join the group
- Individual who just wants to register. Goes straight to registration.
- From groups.ussf2010.org or www.ussf2010.org, user follows common navigation block link "Register" to community.ussf2010.org
- User follows main navigation link to "Individual Registration"
- User completes "Individual" profile on community.ussf2010.org
- User confirms registration via email, is sent to groups.ussf2010.org landing page

- User or Organization updates information and is redirected to groups.ussf2010.org (or community.ussf2010.org opens up in a different window and simply leads to a dead end, thus the user can return to groups.ussf2010.org window)
- Individual registered under an organization (but not the creator of the registration) wants to change their information.

- Organization wants to contribute to the Helping Hand Fund to sponsor low income/student/unemployed attendee.
- Specifically, organizations can pay for each other by coordinating this themselves, but each organization must have a separate registered profile.
- CiviCRM allows for event registration to include CiviContribute donation link. This should actually be on all of the registration profiles.
- Individual is told she/he is being included in Helping Hand Fund and registers.
