List of Use Cases for registration

1. Online Individual: Individual wants to register. Goes straight to registration.

  • User follows main navigation link to "Individual Registration"
  • User completes "Individual" profile on community.ussf2010.org
  • User confirms registration via email, is sent to organize.ussf2010.org landing page
  • User account is automatically created for community.ussf2010.org and organize.ussf2010.org
  • Welcome email is sent, landing page gives options to user for engaging in the organize.ussf2010.org site

2. Online Standard Organization: Organization wants to register up to 3 members for the social forum.

  • Organization clicks on "Register."
  • Organization completes "Organization" profile on community.ussf2010.org
  • Organization also enters members' names and email address or leaves blank and placeholder individuals records are created.
  • Organization confirms registration via email, is sent to or.ussf2010.org landing page
  • Members receive registration completion instructions via email
  • Accounts for Organizations and Members are created automatically at organize.ussf2010.org, users and organization are sent to a landing page with further instructions on how to engage in organize.ussf2010.org site

3. Online Nonstandard Organization registration: Organization wants to register more than 25 or so members for the social forum.

  • Organization should contact Resources WG or Logistics/Registration WG and we'll import the members as a csv file

4. Switch from Individual to Organization: NOT IMPLEMENTED Individual is registered. Now they want to register an organization with themselves as a member.

  • This is not currently possible, unless the user registers using a different email address than they registered when they were an individual

5. Become volunteer after registration: NOT IMPLEMENTED Individual has already registered and wants to go back to community and volunteer

  • User follows personal navigation link on organize.ussf2010.org to "Edit Profile"
  • User can edit any profile information, but also sees link "I want to Volunteer with the USSF"
  • Link leads user to community.ussf2010.org, is automatically logged into this site, and asked to edit his/her registration information, including checking the box for volunteering
  • User updates information and is redirected to organize.ussf2010.org
  • Or, this has opened in a separate window and user can simply go back to organize.ussf2010.org window.

6. Online Edit Organization registration: Organization wants to change registration information, adding new individuals or changing the names of existing individuals

  • User that registered the organization logs into community.ussf2010.org/registration/view
  • User updates/adds individuals to their organization registration record.

7. Admin Edit Organization registration: Admin wants to change registration information, adding new individuals or changing the names of existing individuals

  • Same as above.

8. Online Edit Individual Registration: NOT IMPLEMENTED Individual wants to change registration information.

9. Mail in Registration: Administrator wants to register a mail in organization or individual

  • Ensure organization is not yet registered by searching
  • Clicks either Add new Individual or Add new organization
  • Leaves email blank if no email is provided

10. Pay online for Pay Later registration: Individual or organization wants to pay online for registration that was designated Pay Later when originally registered.

11. Admin Update Payment Check: Admin receives check for a registration that was Pay Later.

12. Admin Update Payment Credit Card: Admin receives credit card info for a registration that was Pay Later.
