Entering Mail In Registration

  • Visit the Registration page:  https://community.ussf2010.org/registration/view
  • Login if necessary: reg-login.jpg Download
    • Note: if you get a Woops you don't have access message - it means you do not have proper access to the database, please follow up with Resource Mob or ICT for access.
  • Enter the first few letters of the individual or organization in the Se/arch box: reg-search.jpg Download
  • If the person or organization is listed ...
    • Select them and click the submit button
    • Details about their registration will appear: reg-display-org.jpg Download
    • If they have submitted a check - you may enter that payment:
      • Click the Contact Record link next to the individual who is the Registering Attendee.
      • Click the Contributions tab: reg-click-contributions.jpg Download
      • Edit their pending contribution reg-edit-contributions.jpg Download. Be sure to:
      • Change Paid By to "Check"
      • Enter the Check Number
      • Select Send Receipt (only available if the person provided an email address)
      • Change Contribution Status to completed
      • Done!
  • If the person or organization is not yet entered, click New Organization or New Individual: reg-click-new-org-link.jpg Download
    • Fill in the registration information: reg-choose-reg-options.jpg Download
      • Be sure to enter the number of extra participants. If they have three participants, you need to enter the number 2 to include 2 extra participants in adition to the primary registrant.
      • NOTE: If a check was included, check the "Pay Later" box.
    • Fill in organizational information: reg-choose-org-options.jpg Download
      • NOTE: You may leave the email address empty if none is provided!
    • Fill in the payment information if a credit card number was provided: reg-choose-payment.jpg Download
    • Enter additional registrant information (if needed): reg-additional-info.jpg Download
    • Review confirmation page: reg-confirm-page.jpg Download
    • If it's ok, click submit: reg-confirm-page-submit.jpg Download
    • Review and print confirmation page (this is the receipt): reg-thank-you.jpg Download
    • If a check was included in the mail-in registration:
      • Look up the primary registrant (be sure to use the primary registrant's name, not the organization name): reg-civi-search-ind.jpg Download
        • Select from the drop down list and then press enter on your keyboard
        • You should see the individual record displayed. Click the Contributions tab: reg-click-contributions.jpg Download
        • Locate the Pay Later contribution, and click enter: reg-edit-contributions.jpg Download
        • Edit the record, be sure to:
          • Change Paid By to "Check"
          • Enter the Check Number
          • Change Contribution Status to completed
          • Done!

Editing/Modifying Organization registrations

  • Visit the Registration page:  https://community.ussf2010.org/registration/view
  • Login if necessary: reg-login.jpg Download
    • Note: if you get a Woops you don't have access message - it means you do not have proper access to the database, please follow up with Resource Mob or ICT for access.
  • Enter the first few letters of the individual or organization in the Search box
  • Click to Edit the registration
  • You may change the existing names and email addresses
  • You may not (yet) pay to add more registrants (as an admin - but you can do this as a regular user)

Workshop and PMA proposals

  • Login at:  http://organize.ussf2010.org/
  • All users who are Workshop Reviewers have the appropriate permissions to submit workshops on behalf of another person.
  • Submit the workshop proposal:  http://organize.ussf2010.org/node/add/workshop
  • For First (and optionally second) sponsoring organization, type the first few letters of the organization
    • NOTE: If the organization shows up, you must click the organization to select it so that it appears with an ID number in parentheses. This, in practice, is not very user friendly, so please be sure that your sponsoring organizations are being saved. This interface for the primary sponsor is only available for administrators - regular user have a much easier method.
  • If the organization does not show up, it means they have not yet registered. Leave the sponsoring organization blank - it will need to be entered once the organization has been entered.
