Notes for 2009-07-09 meeting

Present: Daniel S., Mark L., Alfredo, Mallory, Jamie, Ross, Lou, Nancy, Daniel (dkg),

Alfredo will not be able to attend the NPC meeting

We discussed the Workshop Agenda. Mallory, Mark, Sylvia, and Josue will be traveling (and Nancy and Lou are already in Detroit).

• Need for a sandbox site for the training
• Need for figuring out access levels: this will be an issue that we will have to constantly discuss, and will need to discuss inside and beyond the ICT
• Struggled with how to make decisions between working groups when all projects involve multiple working groups
• Re-focus the training on: using media wiki, using drupal, using civicrm - but not necessarily the more complex revision control stuff

NPC: we will start a page for writing a collaborative report back on the ICT work for the NPC.

Tech Job: we are prepared to tell the NPC that we've agreed on the job description. We discussed whether we should just propose the job description, or should be propose the job description and a candidate that we want to endorse as a group. We agreed to try the process described at the top of the Tech staff person.
