How to participate in the workday via irc chat

Agenda:

• Initial steps
  • Install git -  git is a revision control software that allows you to "checkout" code onto your computer, make changes, and then "commit" those changes to the rest of the working group.
  • Upgrade mendes. Currently mendes, the virtual server dedicated to the US social forum, is running Debian Etch - which is the previous stable version of the Debian GNU operating system. To effectively collaborate with git, we will have more success if we upgrade to the Debian Lenny version.
  • Setup staging.ussf2010.org and possibly sandbox.ussf2010.org
• Discuss and document our development workflow plan.
• Hands on with learning how to use git
